Stockport District and Local Shopping Areas
Stockport is home to eight thriving District Centres that offer an appealing blend of local history, modern convenient facilities and traditional high street retailing.
The District Centres are well established, and each holds a particular character of their own - from the rich and interesting industrial heritage of Reddish in the north, to the sophisticated and stylish boutiques of Bramhall in the south; the quaint and attractive Marple Centre in the east, and the delightful historic Cheadle Village in the west.
So if you're visiting, new to the area or just haven't popped down to your District Centre, why not come and see what they have to offer and shop local!
Stockport Council's Shop Local campaign aims to encourage people to shop in one of the borough’s eight District Centres: Bramhall; Cheadle; Cheadle Hulme; Edgeley; Hazel Grove; Marple; Reddish and Romiley.
