Join us for a Taste of Stockport as we celebrate being part of the Manchester Food & Drink Festival for the first time.
You can sample lots of ingredients for this delicious new event - including a cookery demonstrations, food tastings, a gourmet food market, the launch of a new food & drink guide, historic pub walks, fungal forays and best of all a new Robinson's festival ale. There'll be lots more on the menu too.
In Marple, there will be a week of tasty activities to celebrate their first Food & Drink Festival - including a recipe competition for the best Samuel Oldknow Pie, healthy eating menus in schools, wine and whisky tastings and food related quizzes. The centrepiece will be a farmers' market of fresh food from local shops and suppliers.
